Property sector welcomes Taylor&Emmet review
Sheffield’s Taylor&Emmet LLP is inviting the region’s property professionals to its annual update on the rules and regulations affecting the industry.
Record attendance is expected for the solicitors’ latest commercial property seminar, which will focus on recent case law and overage agreements.
The free breakfast event is being held at Sheffield’s Leopold Hotel on November 6 and will be hosted by Taylor&Emmet partners, Rob Cooke and Max Marrison.
Rob Cooke, head of property ligation, will open with an overview of recent legal developments, examining key cases in detail and explaining their significance. His colleague, head of commercial property, Max Marrison, will then focus on overage agreements, the means by which commercial agents preserve the interests of their vendor if the end value of land cannot be ascertained or is dependent on a particular condition.
Max said: “We enjoy an excellent relationship with South Yorkshire’s property sector and our seminars are always well supported. Delegates appreciate the informal atmosphere we create and our clear, no nonsense delivery. It is vital that anyone advising land owners, developers and businesses has a basic understanding of the laws affecting the industry and this event will highlight all of the significant changes that have taken place this year.”
Taylor&Emmet’s 2014 Property Update will run from 8am to 9.45am and will include breakfast, networking and an opportunity to discuss the issues raised.
