Spooky Spectacular At Manor Walks This Half Term
Families are banishing half term boredom this week by taking advantage of free entertainment at Northumberland’s largest shopping and leisure destination.
From tasty treats to creepy crafts, visitors to Manor Walks Shopping and Leisure in Cramlington should expect the unexpected during a series of spooky events taking place throughout the school holidays.
On Saturday (October 25 2014) Manor Walks’ Foodie Market kicked off the calendar of events, showcasing a range of devilishly-fresh foods from local producers including Northumberland Sausage Company, Northumberland Cheese Company and Lottie McPhees Cupcakes.
Many of the centre’s retailers, including M&S Simply Food, Curiously Wicked and Frankie & Benny’s, also took part in the foodie festival. While LEV3L Crafters hosted spooky craft making and face painting, with prizes for the most horrifying Halloween designs.
To continue the half term spooky spectacular, the popular Creepy Crawly Petting Zoo from Steve’s Animal Ark will creep back into Centre Mall on Monday 27 and Wednesday 29 October where children can get up-close and personal with spiders, snakes and other mini-beasts from 11am to 2pm.
Manor Walks general manager Bruno Coppola said: “This half term we have a calendar crammed with activities to help keep children of all ages entertained during the school holidays.
“Our centre is proud to remain at the heart of the community and this series of free events serve as a reward to thank our loyal customers for their continued support throughout the year.”
With over 100 retailers including Northumberland’s only multiplex cinema and a great range of family restaurants and retailers, Manor Walks Shopping and Leisure in Cramlington offers a huge amount of choice to suit a range of tastes.
