Manchester’s Tangerine gets ‘hands-on’ with Tactus
Manchester communications consultancy Tangerine has been appointed by Tactus to build its brand and increase awareness of its innovative protection for mobile devices such as phones, tablets and wearable items.
The agency will be responsible for delivering an integrated communications strategy which includes focusing on brand development as well as overhauling Tactus’ digital presence with the launch of a new-look website.
Tangerine’s head of strategic planning and insight, Adele Wilson, will be leading Tactus’ brand development, working with the company to develop its vision and values.
Following this, Tangerine will roll out a fully integrated, multi-platform PR and social media campaign aimed at smartphone and tablet users across the UK.
The campaign will support Tactus’ ambition of becoming the leading provider of protection for mobile devices, making it the brand of choice for connected individuals who rely on their technology for everyday survival.
Mary Harding, consumer MD at Tangerine, said: “Tactus is at an exciting stage in its development and has ambitious growth plans which we fully believe can be realised with the hard-hitting and integrated communications strategy we will be putting in place.
“Our team has a vast amount of valuable experience across brand development, website design, social media and PR activation which will all come in to play as we work towards our goal of establishing Tactus as the market leader in protection for mobile devices.
“Our campaign will aim to educate everyone with a smartphone or tablet about the importance of protecting their devices with innovative products from Tactus that will help their device survive everyday wears and tears.
“For most people today, where it seems like the end of the world if your technology is out of action for any length of time, it’s more important than ever to make sure devices are protected.”
Scott Brenchley, CEO of Tactus said: “Tangerine impressed us with its ability to really understand where we wanted to go as a company and what we needed to do in order to reach that end goal.
“The team has spent a lot of time understanding our brand and has developed a thorough and effective strategy which will strengthen our position within the market place.
“The next few months will be incredibly exciting for us, as we start to see the first steps of this multi-platform campaign come into full effect. “
Tactus products are currently stocked in Selfridges, Argos and Maplin amongst other retailers. Tactus’ range of products include tempered glass screen protectors; stylish, reinforced iPad cases and micro-suction phone covers that help you take the ultimate selfie.
