Leeds' Shackleton PR wins London luxury travel firm contract
Leeds-based Shackleton PR has been appointed by Brown + Hudson, a London-based luxury travel firm.
Targeting ultra-high net worth groups, their intermediaries and PA support, Shackleton has begun implementing a targeted, multi-channel campaign to communicate Brown + Hudson’s message.
Brown + Hudson founder Philippe Brown explained: “We describe ourselves as somewhere between therapists and investigative journalists, with our trip planners working closely with clients to define their tastes, aspirations and personal style – ensuring their journey fulfils their ambitions.
“We are not a luxury holiday company with a difference, our focus on culture, wildlife, cuisine, wellbeing and our access to inspiring individuals means that travel with Brown + Hudson is insightful, memorable and impossible to duplicate.
“It was crucial that the agency we engaged understands what we offer, and to whom, as well as being able to add genuine business benefits.
“We were clear that the work carried out by our PR team needed to make the phones ring – and that’s happening already.”
Robin Skidmore, CEO at Shackleton, added: “The brief from Brown + Hudson was incredibly exact, not only is the target audience incredibly small, but the messaging very specific.
“Our challenge was to devise a campaign that would effectively reach this group, with content that clarified the offer, and embraced the philosophy and ethos that Phillippe has worked so hard to create.
“It’s always great to hear the direct impact you’re having on a client’s business, ultimately, we’re here to help drive sales and that’s what we’re doing already.”
