Corporate milestones mark insurance brokers five years in business on Teesside

Henderson Insurance Brokers Ltd has unveiled a series of milestones as it celebrates five years in business on Teesside.

The operation, based in Stockton, was launched in 2009 with four employees and since has expanded to a workforce totalling 40.

During the last five years, Teesside companies have placed more than £11 million insurance premium in commercial and rural business policies.

The office is led by brother and sister, Jonathan Willett and Emma Simkins.

Henderson Insurance Brokers Teesside has established a solid reputation in Tees Valley and has become one of the fastest growing branches in the company’s network.

Henderson Insurance Brokers’ founder is Joe Henderson, an independent insurance entrepreneur of long-standing, who launched the office at George Stephenson Way, Preston Farm, Stockton, after spotting a gap in the Teesside marketplace.

Jonathan Willett, who along with Emma is a Director of Henderson Insurance Brokers Teesside, said: “We believed that the Tees Valley had great potential and our growth and recruitment during the last five years has demonstrated that HIBL was right to have confidence in the area.
