Quantum Pharmaceutical Group appoints Onyx Health
Following the promotion of Alison Doering to Group Head of Marketing and Communications, the Quantum Pharmaceutical Group, a leading manufacturer and supplier of niche medicines and services to the healthcare sector, has appointed healthcare marketing communications agency Onyx Health to strengthen its brand marketing and PR activities.
“As the Quantum Pharmaceutical Group continues to grow and develop outside its core business of unlicensed medicines, we needed to work with an agency that not only understands our core business but also has extensive experience in the wider healthcare pharmaceutical market,” explains Alison Doering, Head of Group Marketing & Communications at Quantum.
“Onyx Health brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the Group. The agency has been working with UL Medicines, one of the businesses within our Group, for some time but we have now extended their remit to offer strategic marketing and PR support to the Quantum Pharmaceutical, Biodose and Biodose Services brands, as well as supporting our corporate and community activities.”
Onyx Health was founded by Karen Winterhalter in 2004, who has previously headed up the Europe, Middle East and Africa healthcare teams for several of the world leading global PR firms, including Burson Marsteller and Weber Shandwick. In 2010, Winterhalter relocated the business from London to the North East to support the growing life science and pharmaceutical business in the region. The company is based in Durham and works with pharmaceutical, device and diagnostic companies operating in UK and global markets.
