Touchstone scores top marks in Investors in People Gold Standard
Leeds-based mental health charity Touchstone has been awarded the prestigious Investors in People Gold Standard – with every employee scoring 100% for their commitment to the organisation.
The accreditation is the latest in a series of milestones for the charity, which specialises in working with people from different cultural backgrounds across West Yorkshire. Earlier this year Touchstone was listed in both the Sunday Times Best Not-for-Profit Companies and in Stonewall’s Top 100 Employers for gay-friendly workplaces for the second year running.
After conducting a rigorous four-day assessment of the charity’s policies, strategies, training and development, the Investors in People assessors concluded that Touchstone had evidence to support every indicator of excellence at the gold standard. The charity’s expertise in equality and diversity, health and wellbeing strategies and performance management culture were also highly commended.
Touchstone’s Human Resources Director Kathryn Hart said: “I am so proud of our staff team here at Touchstone who demonstrate daily what commitment, hard work and person-centred support looks like and it is they who make Touchstone the fantastic organisation it is.
“I want to thank them for their continued support and engagement with the vision and values of Touchstone, they live these every day which makes my job the easiest, and the best, in the world”.
