£80k BFS Business Loan for Bolton’s Global Interiors
Bolton based family run furniture and home accessories company Global Interiors is set to dramatically expand its operation after receiving a £80k Business Finance Solutions (BFS) business loan.
The loan is drawn from a £24 million fund delivered by BFS that is designed to help businesses across Greater Manchester to find access finance, grow, and create or protect jobs.
A condition of the loan is that it must create or protect jobs and typical loans will be from £3k to £100k in value.
Founded in 1987, Global Interiors has operated from a store in the Botany Bay visitors centre and is using the loan to expand its additional new premises in Astley Bridge in Bolton.
The new premises will also enable Global Interiors to create at least five new jobs in the Bolton area, taking their total staff to 12.
Global Interiors design and manufacture their own nationally renowned chunky rustic plank pine range, using skilled craftsmen and traditional methods.
BFS Business Loans is a Government-backed product with capital from the Regional Growth Fund and Manchester Solutions.
They will be available to new or existing businesses based within the 10 Local Authority areas of Greater Manchester
The Business Loans are designed to help businesses that have been unable to secure mainstream funding and to make it easier for entrepreneurs to access the finance they need to start up and grow their own enterprises.
Recipients of the BFS Business Loans can also be introduced to business mentors and to other business support services, which will be delivered by the Business Growth Hub.
Director of Business Finance Solutions Paul Breen said, “Global Interiors is an established, quality family business with a great track record of success and innovative thinking.
“We are delighted to be able to support them with this additional funding that will enable them to put even bigger and better plans in place for the growth of the business.”
