Kiss Mix to sell cocktails to the United Arab Emirates

Surrey-based drinks supplier, The Kiss Mix Drinks Co has secured deals worth more than £35,000 in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) thanks to UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) South East.

The Godalming-based business, which sells premium, all natural cocktails in a can, has recently concluded a distribution agreement to supply Dubai, UAE.

This business has also seen significant growth in other markets such as Nigeria, Hong Kong and emerging markets across Asia. A deal in China is expected to be announced soon.

Robert Millar, managing director of the company, said: “We are making great progress in many markets across the world. UAE, like many other markets in the region, has a huge Western ex-pat population thirsty for a quality product.

“In a small business like our own, putting our time and resources into the right opportunities is crucial. With the diligent help of our UKTI International Trade Adviser, Peter Warren, this has been made possible and we have focused our time and energy on the right markets.”

Robert said: “We have worked with UKTI for two years now and we continue to learn more about new market opportunities. The ExploreExport event has given us the opportunity to meet a select band of commercial attaches from the right embassies.

“Our UKTI adviser has extensive experience in the drinks industry and this has been very useful as we continue to grow our operations across the world.

“We’re now looking to Japan as a new market, and have just returned from a major trade show in France called SIAL with a whole new bag of interested parties across the globe for our follow up”
