Preston based Conlon Construction completes multi-million redevelopment.
Conlon Construction has completed a £6 million project to redevelop Grade II-listed Bowcliffe Hall in Wetherby.
Appointed by Bayford Group, the multi-phase project comprised construction of ‘The Blackburn Wing’, an aeroplane wing-shaped conference centre and various refurbishment works across the nineteenth century building and grounds, including converting a cricket pavilion and other redundant buildings into office space and a new drivers club restaurant.
Bowcliffe Hall is the first major project to be completed by Conlon Construction, a family-run firm established in Preston in 1961.
Jonathan Turner from Bayford Group said, “This has been a unique and challenging project for all of us. I have been passionate about much of the detail in the Blackburn Wing and Bowcliffe driver club and they have dealt with that with the utmost professionalism.”
