Daisy is a blooming “good place to work”, reports IIP

Nelson-based business communications provider Daisy Group plc has been reaccredited from Investors in People (IIP), recognising its business and people management excellence.

The firm, which is one of East Lancashire’s largest employers, has achieved the certification for the fourth consecutive time following an extensive assessment whereby employees were anonymously asked for their opinions on the workplace.

According to the IIP’s independent report, the company benefits from “strong entrepreneurial leadership” and is “a good place to work”.

The accreditation is a nationally recognised standard that measures how well organisations support and develop their staff, maintain fairness within the workplace, and care for their employees.

Positive employee comments within the report included references to Daisy’s appealing reward schemes, inclusive working environments and its dedication to learning and development. Staff also commended the firm for the facilities and clubs it provides including a canteen, game consoles and a sports and social club.

Commenting on the award, Marie Wheatley, Group Head of HR, said:

“It is a major accomplishment to achieve this recognition and testament to all the hard work the business has put in to create enjoyable working environments. Our employees are vital to reaching our business goals and this accolade affirms our commitment to ensuring the wellbeing and development of every person.”
