Mouth-watering deal for Bradford pub Brewfactory and Bristol pie maker
Bradford’s new Brewfactory pub, opening in the city centre early next year, has signed a partnership deal with Bristol pie makers Pieminister.
The Brewfactory, brainchild of the Bradford Brewery on Westgate, will be the first Pieminister outlet in Yorkshire.
The partnership has been agreed under Pieminister’s new Pie Pub Package which effectively means that the Brewfactory will be licenced to sell genuine Pieminister products under the food company’s brand.
Pieminister provides its Pie Pubs with the full range of recipes on its menu and helps them to design a permanent Pieminister open kitchen, offering staff training and business support.
There are currently eight Pieminister shops across the country – with the nearest being in the heart of Manchester’s Northern Quarter.
Bradford Brewery managing director Matthew Halliday said: “I must admit I’m feeling uncharacteristically pie-eyed at the thought of being able to offer the Bradford Brewery and Pieminister sensations under one roof.
“The two go together like……well a pie and a pint….and with Yorkshire being one of the most prolific pie-eating counties in the whole country, we and Pieminister are expecting the whole package to go down a treat.
“If Bradford people love these flavours as much I think they will, we will be keen to work with Pieminister to share the concept more widely across the area in the future.”
Pieminister founder Tristan Hogg said: “Matthew Halliday’s vision for Bradford Brewery impressed us right from the start and fits perfectly with our idea of what a pie pub should be.
“We believe we make the best British pies there are, using premium, responsibly-sourced ingredients that taste amazing. Served with our distinctive style and a bit of humour, we think they’ll fit right at home in the Brewfactory”.
