New fluid launched to enhance car performance

A well-established British oil blender has launched a sophisticated new product to improve the performance of modern cars and add to its already extensive automotive range.

Morris Lubricants has developed Multi-System Central Hydraulic Fluid to provide the critical levels required by active self-levelling suspension, progressive power steering, traction control and brake systems.

The product is available in one litre retail packs and its high performance profile permits its use in vehicle systems operating between -40 and 130 degrees Centigrade.

It can also be used in hydraulically operated clutches, electro-hydraulic systems on convertibles and certain central locking mechanisms.

Adrian Hill, automotive product manager for Morris Lubricants, said: “We are delighted to be launching the new multi-system central hydraulic fluid.

“Certain competitors have held this part of the market for many years and, following extensive development and testing programmes, we can now provide an effective and reliable alternative.

“This type of product has seen an increase in demand due to the ever evolving active systems on today’s passenger cars.

“This fluid is designed to react really quickly and across a very broad range of temperatures. If it’s too thick at cold temperatures or not thick enough at high temperatures, you don’t get balanced and safe response times. This fluid offers this critical level of performance.”

Morris Lubricants is a British company that has been manufacturing lubricants in Shrewsbury since 1869. Over 140 years of development has seen the company grow to become one of Europe’s leading oil blenders and marketers, with a reputation for quality and service.

It manufactures more than 800 products, each tweaked and perfected for specific engines and cars.

The company offers an extensive range of performance lubricants covering a wide variety of application areas. This is backed by the highest level of quality control and technical support, together with an experienced customer service team.
