Professor takes original idea from the classroom to the boardroom

A Business Studies Professor intends to show his students he can practise as well as preach by launching a website allowing people to own a piece of original art or furniture.

Serial entrepreneur, academic and author, Professor Chris Jones, has established Findanoriginal.com to support artists and make one-off pieces accessible to ordinary people.

Professor Jones is the Head of the Business School at Glyndwr University in Wrexham in North East Wales where he helps to equip his students with the skills they need to survive in the world of commerce.

He is also the author of “Selling Moose” which follows the highs and lows of the sportswear business he established and ran for four years before joining the university.

Now Professor Jones’ unique website will be showcasing the original work of a huge range of artists. With one-off items of clothing, furniture, jewellery, paintings, photography and sculpture, findanoriginal.com is the perfect place to find a unique piece for yourself, your home or as a gift.

“We aim to become established as the leading website for designers who create beautiful, bespoke products to promote their skills and sell their finished items,” said Professor Jones

“We believe this is the first site of its kind and it was established to give artists and craftspeople a platform to sell original pieces with no setting up costs and very competitive rates of commission and for discerning shoppers to find original items of clothing, artwork, jewellery and furniture.” He added.
