Liverpool’s Eco engine product maker Cataclean sees increase in USA sales
Liverpool eco-engine product maker Cataclean Global is reporting a surge in sales to the United States.
The company is pleased to report an increase in North American sales of 300% in the last 12 months.
Developed in 1995, Cataclean is the flagship product of System Products, which was established in 1999 to market Cataclean.
The product is a fuel system cleaner for both diesel, petrol and hybrid engines.
Sales had been driven across the United States, helped by a tough stance on emissions inspections in many states and a strong relationship with its US licensee Ohio based Accel Performance.
Cataclean global director Graham Fraser said, “The USA is a massive potential market for us and we feel we are only touching the surface of it,”
“The US has led the way in cracking down on vehicle emissions stretching back to the federal Clean Air Act in the late seventies.
“As a result there are established regimes for emissions inspections across the country.
“That rigorous approach, means there is a strong demand for our product which can reduce emissions by 60 %.
“Our sales manager William Jones is flying to the United States in November to visit two of the world’s biggest automotive trade shows SEMA and AAPEX both in Las Vegas,”
“This will provide a platform for us to network with our contacts and open up more opportunities to grow our sales.
“We are especially keen to find new partners and expand our distributor network.”
