Billingham energy efficiency firm Tadea in partnership for £1 million Yorkshire contract
Billingham-based energy efficiency organisation Tadea-UK has announced a new partnership with building contractors Hamilton Ltd in a deal to deliver a £1 million contract.
Hamilton (Building Contractors) Ltd have already been awarded over £1 million worth of work as a result of the company’s appointment onto Tadea’s procurement framework.
They will deliver external wall insulation for local authority carbon saving projects in the North West and West Yorkshire Regions.
This framework has been set up to facilitate the delivery of insulation measures across the UK and in its first six weeks has already generated £2 million worth of work.
Hamilton is currently working in Bradford on Tadea and Bradford Council’s Green Deal Communities project and an exclusive insulation scheme for a Bradford-based social landlord set to deliver external wall insulation to 87 concrete built ‘Wimpey No-Fines’ homes.
Steve Hunter, Tadea’s managing director said: “We’re delighted to be working alongside Hamilton Building Contractors Ltd to deliver external wall insulation services in the North West and West Yorkshire areas.
“‘Hamiltons’ have a great reputation, and in partnership with them we will be delivering measures which bring huge benefits to people across this region.
“Through this partnership, we will be making people’s homes warmer, more comfortable and healthier places to live, whilst also helping to reduce carbon emissions from housing stock.
“It is an exciting time and it is great to see our procurement framework enjoying considerable success even at such an early stage”.
Daniel Mackie, business development director for Hamilton’s added: “Hamilton’s are delighted to have secured a place on Tadea’s framework and we are really pleased to have been awarded this work so soon after the framework was announced.
“One of the key differences with this framework, is that it has its main focus on quality, which is something we feel very strongly about, rather than simply being about price.”
“For Local Authorities and Registered Providers looking to ensure quality is the highest it can be, as well as competitively priced, then they would be well placed to contact Tadea to discuss utilising their framework.”
