Manchester’s Havas PR appointed by JD Williams

Manchester-based Havas PR has been appointed by JD Williams, the internet and home shopping company.

Havas PR will handle JD Williams’ store expansion programme for their Simply Be and Jacamo brands.

The PR company specialises in campaigns for multi-site retail and leisure operators.

Its current retail client list includes Asda; Pets at Home; Greggs; Hobbycraft; Debenhams; DFS; Maplin Electronics and The Original Factory Shop.

Director of global communications for JD Williams’ owner N Brown Group, Ed Watson, said: “These are very exciting times for JD Williams and we are delighted to have Havas on board as our PR partner.

“They have an unrivalled track record in retail PR and no one understands how to build a brand at a local level as well as they do.”
