Surrey-based Kew Green completes double hotel acquisition
Richmond-based Kew Green Holdings Ltd has announced the completion of the acquisition of two remaining Holiday Inn hotels from LRG Holdings Ltd,
The acquisitions bring the firm’s portfolio of Holiday Inn branded hotels to 40 confirming it as InterContinental Hotels Group’s (IHG) largest Holiday Inn franchise partner across Europe.
The final two hotels are located in Swindon and Portsmouth and will continue to trade as Holiday Inn Hotels under new franchise agreements.
Kew Green have committed to invest £25 million across the estate of 21 hotels which it acquired from LRG Holdings Ltd and will see them all benefit from a comprehensive refurbishment.
The acquisition takes Kew Green’s portfolio to 55 hotels across the UK with almost 6,700 bedrooms in total.
