Wetherby-based Oriium ranked in the Deloitte 2014 UK Technology Fast 50 a second time
Wetherby based, Oriium Consulting Limited (“Oriium”) has been ranked in the Deloitte 2014 UK Technology Fast 50 for a second year and is recognised as one of the 50 fastest growing technology companies in the UK. The second time win comes alongside recognition earlier in the year in the Santander Breakthrough 50 Business Awards on 9th April in London and CommVault European Services Partner 2013 award in Miami, Florida. Ranked 43rd in 2013 Oriium managed to achieve a 36th place ranking this year alongside other well know tech firms such as Just Eat and notonthehighstreet.com.
Oriium, started by Chris Kiaie in 2008, has seen growth of 796% in the last 5 years to 31 March 2014 and has forecast turnover of circa £4m for the year to 31 March 2015.
The business recently moved to larger 3000sq ft. purpose built premises in Wetherby, West Yorkshire to support further expansion. The business which currently has 35 employees has also recently appointed a new Head of Sales, Head of Operations and Chief Finance Officer.
Oriium provides experience of design, installation and support of critical core infrastructure as well as managed and hosted (Cloud) services. Oriium has the capability to offer complete end-to-end solutions that span from the end-user desktop through to platforms hosted within its Data Centers.
Working with Oriium’s broad partner network has seen the customer base grow dramatically over the last 5 years. Key account wins in 2014 include both public and private sector organisations with sustained growth in Healthcare (NHS), Finance and Retail sectors.
The average growth rate of the Fast 50 winners was 1,695 percent this year. The top 50 companies recorded cumulative revenues of £963 million and employed 8,500 people in the year 2013/14, up 43 and 58 percent from last year respectively.
