Farnham Castle is finalist and host of prestigious wedding industry awards
Farnham Castle has been shortlisted in the London and South East regional final of the prestigious Wedding Industry Awards which the Castle also hosted.
The historic Castle was in the final line up of the Best Town or City Venue’ category of the awards which recognise and reward excellence in the wedding industry.
Around 250 attendees enjoyed a networking drinks reception with champagne and cocktails from a vintage bar especially set up for the evening.
The in-house catering team from Galloping Gourmet, who provide the food for all the Castle’s weddings, events and meetings, served a sumptuous feast in the Great Hall which has previously welcomed most English monarchs during the Castle’s 900 year history.
Olivia Pratt, Venue Manager said, “It was an honour to be a finalist in these high profile awards and to have the opportunity to showcase our facilities for weddings and events”.
Farnham Castle is set in stunning grounds and is licensed for both civil and religious ceremonies and boasts a long established tradition of offering facilities for meetings and bespoke events.
For over 50 years the world-renowned Farnham Castle Intercultural Training (FCIT) company - which works with business and organisations to improve their performance - has been based at the Castle. Clients include national and international companies, educational institutions and British and overseas government agencies.
