EE opens new Cramlington store creating 5 jobs
EE, the UK’s most advanced digital communications company, opens a new store in Cramlington today.
Located on Manor Walk, it increases EE’s retail presence in the North East to 25 stores, and creates five new jobs for the area.
Visitors to the store will be able to explore a range of products and 4GEE plans with guidance from EE staff, who will help them to choose the option best suited to their individual digital lifestyles.
This more personalised approach to customer experience is the latest demonstration of EE’s commitment to becoming number one for service in the UK telecoms sector.
The area benefits from double speed 4GEE, allowing residents to enjoy seamless web browsing and HD video streaming, whether they’re exploring Plessey Woods Country Park, or visiting St Mary’s Island.
Earlier this year, EE was ranked the number one mobile network in Leicester, and overall across the UK, following comprehensive independent testing from RootMetrics®.
EE’s 4G network now covers 300 major towns and cities, as well as over 75% of the UK population.
MP for Blyth Valley, Ronnie Campbell, said: “I’m pleased to hear that we’ll be getting a new EE store in Cramlington. It will provide a tangible jobs benefit as well as helping to ensure that local people and businesses are digitally connected.”
Retail Director at EE, Deirdre Burns, said: “We’re thrilled to be expanding our presence in Northumberland and to create new jobs for the local community.
“New store openings such as this, together with our two newly-opened UK call centres, reinforce our commitment to providing our customers with the best possible service.”
