Sheffield-based CPP appointed to Humber Enterprise Park
Sheffield-based property consultancy Commercial Property Partners (CPP) has been appointed to market the Humber Enterprise Park at Brough, East Yorkshire.
LC Industrial, the collaboration between Lumina Real Estate Capital and Leeds-based business space specialist Citivale, bought the 86-acre Humber Enterprise Park from BAE Systems for £10 million last month.
This is a major business park for the region which includes 1.3 million sq ft of office and industrial space, 20 acres of development land and benefits from Enterprise Zone and Assisted Area Status which offers significant incentives to attract new occupiers.
James Appleton-Metcalfe, managing director of Citivale, said: “We have some exciting and innovative plans for the site which I am confident will see the business park develop into one of the prime office and industrial locations within Hull and the East Riding.
“As part of our strategic plans for the future, we have appointed CPP as joint marketing agents for the site, alongside Humberside commercial property specialists PPH.
“Although CPP were only formed 15 months ago, they have swiftly established themselves as one of the most accomplished and dynamic cross-sector agencies in the region.”
Toby Vernon, partner and co-founder of CPP, said: “This is a fantastic business park with a great heritage and huge potential. Established tenants include BAE Systems, Supercraft, Cablescan and East Riding of Yorkshire Council.
“We are delighted to have been awarded this very prestigious instruction by Citivale, who are looking to create one of the finest business parks in the region.
“The excellent location, overlooking the Humber and linked to Yorkshire’s excellent motorway network, creates a unique and exciting business destination.”
Roger Haworth, partner at CPP, said: “We were delighted to win this prestigious award in only our first year as a consultancy.
“It has been a tremendously busy and satisfying 15 months and it has been gratifying to put together some important deals in a challenging market.”
“To be recognised by our peers, and to beat some highly-rated industrial agency specialists, makes us very proud – and even more determined to build on our success during the next 12 months.”
CPP, who were formed ex-CBRE senior directors Vernon and Roger Haworth in September last year, were named Industrial Agency Team of the Year at this year’s Yorkshire Property Industry Awards.
CPP defeated stiff competition including CBRE, Gent Visick, Knight Frank and Colliers, who were all short-listed.
