Danish audio firm Bang & Olufsen expands into the north with Leeds and York stores
Danish high-end audio visual company, Bang & Olufsen, has announced that as part of its expansion into the UK, Leeds and York are set for new stores as well as 2 in London.
The firm said that the stores offer customers an opportunity to discover new technology and understand first-hand how to get the most out of a purchase, something online does not provide.
The new stores will be up and running by Christmas. The first stores to open their doors in this series are Leeds, St Albans and York, followed by Battersea (London), which will open in the next few weeks.
The company itself will also be opening two stores in London – Marylebone and Hanover Square, which will be a Flagship store for central London.
Tue Mantoni, CEO of Bang & Olufsen said: “The UK market is extremely important to our growth strategy and opening these new stores shows the renewed confidence in the brand and the luxury market.
“Providing a quality and interactive customer experience is, and will continue to be, at the heart of Bang & Olufsen.
“While consumers can research our products online, feeling and testing them at a store will always be instrumental to Bang & Olufsen’s success.
“As we work very closely with customers at the installation level, as well as throughout their purchase journey and beyond, having a local presence is absolutely key to making sure we have a happy customer base.”
