Do you know somebody who needs a helping hand to overcoming their barriers?

This could be for their self development and towards the cost of a course/qualification that might help gain employment or to find work, help with volunteer opportunities that could lead to paid employment, or toward tools or equipment to start a or grow a small business enterprise.

If you do, then The North East Enterprise Trust may be able to help - in the form of a Self Development and Enterprise Award.

Awards will pay for just about anything between £50 - £250 and the main criteria is the individuals circumstances and their need.

We have the funds to help, but we aren’t a charity and want to ensure our money is directed to those who really need it the most. That’s because every penny we invest in this way has been generated using our own initiative (we are very enterprising) along with our supporters, friends and business partners and through our social enterprises, so we don’t want to see it squandered.

The application form is only an A4 sheet and we can usually make decisions within twenty four hours.

The North East Enterprise Trust is a regional Community Interest Company that is fully constituted and governed by a strong board of knowledgeable and respected volunteer trustees.
