Sedulo reward staff for high growth year

Sedulo, Accountancy & Wealth Management specialists, are whisking their staff off to Portugal for the annual Christmas party this year. The annual trips have taken place since 2008 with Company Director, Paul Cheetham-Karcz previously rewarding his staff with excursions to the likes of Barcelona, Rome, Milan, and Palma.

Almost 25 members of staff will be whisked off to the town of Albufeira for three days of relaxation, spa treatments, bar hopping followed by the now legendary karaoke competition.

Whilst these excursions have been done in the past this year was deserved in particular given the 30% growth the company has enjoyed throughout the year. The Wealth Management arm completed its first full year of trade and hit targeted profit, and the Corporate Finance Division has in the second half of the year completed a number of transactions with some larger ones being worked on at the moment.

Managing Director, Paul Cheetham-Karcz says;

“It’s become a tradition for us to take the staff to hotter climates for a few days for their Christmas parties. That said it is not a given, these trips are a reward for successes throughout the year. At Sedulo we have a team that constantly strives for success for its clients, our clients becoming successful has a knock on effect on our company – that’s our model. This year is probably the best year we have had in terms of new client wins, and growth in the services we offer our existing clients. The economy has picked up and we have a number of really exciting projects we are advising on at the moment, in the UK and overseas- we don’t focus only on UK business. The trip to Portugal is a reward for the staff for all their efforts this year – 2015 is approached with excitement right now within the team “
