Software security group seeking to expand workforce
NCC Group is aiming to create 100 jobs in its Software Testing division – 65 of them at its headquarters in Manchester - as it continues to expand its delivery capability prompted by high demand from clients.
The global information assurance firm expects the positions to be filled during the next 12 months. NCC Group has 20 offices across the world and employs over 1,000 specialists in information security, assurance and technology.
The company provides security consulting, software escrow and verification, website performance, software testing and domain services.
It is now looking to recruit across a range of roles from test analysts to senior test managers, and will cover functional, automation and performance testing.
Bob Dowson, operational director at NCC Group, said: “The new jobs will further increase the department’s delivery capability. We are committed to an onshore model and this growth will provide us with an enhanced delivery capacity across the UK.
“The new roles will be based in a number of locations throughout the country, which allows us to be fully responsive to our clients requirements and continue to deliver testing excellence onshore.
“This is an exciting time within IT development and we are seeing a significant demand for our services which gives us the great opportunity of creating new roles here in the UK.”
NCC Group’s Software Testing division serves a wide range of clients, including large financial institutions, telecoms companies and major players within the software development market.
