Sony hack exposes the vulnerability of “secure” servers.
While Sony’s IT teams were looking forward to a peaceful and jolly Christmas, hackers from the Far East were working to put their celebrations on hold. Now that more details are being released about the severity of this latest attack, the vulnerability of private servers is being highlighted once again.
In the wake of the Sony Hack, IT support experts Delta Comtech are offering customers advice and help with securing their digital data.
“If this attack shows us anything it’s that even the most secure server can still be attacked,” explains Delta Comtech’s Carl Enser. “We’ve been working hard to keep our clients safe from attack by ensuring that their computer systems and software are constantly state-of-the art, and in some cases this has meant removing their servers entirely”.
Delta Comtech has been helping firms to maintain and update their IT for over 17 years, handling rapid response problems, long term strategies and upgrades for some of the UK’s biggest firms. With their formidable experience, there’s little that they don’t know about server security.
“Our clients come to us because we make building and managing secure computer systems easy and hassle-free,” explains Carl. “They stay with us because they know how reliable we are”.
The company, based in Cheshire is offering businesses a review of their servers and computer systems, to ensure that they’re as secure as possible.
