Gateshead’s Deminos HR targets growth as turnover increases 20%
Gateshead-based Deminos HR, which devises employment law and human resources solutions for clients in a wide range of sectors, is targeting further growth after reporting a 20 per cent increase in turnover to £1.5 million in 2014.
The firm, which has offices across the UK, has experienced a strong period of growth that has been fuelled by a 30 per cent expansion of its team since January.
As more businesses look to cut costs by outsourcing the work of personnel departments, Deminos, which has around 300 clients across the UK, has experienced a continuous period of growth. Its client base is made up of firms with workforces ranging from two to 5,000 with a focus on small businesses with up to 70 staff.
The firm’s tailored service includes a dedicated qualified HR manager backed by full legal support. Deminos also broadened its services earlier this year with the strategic acquisition of OSL (South East) Ltd, an expert H&S, training and Quality Assurance consultancy.
Mr Atkinson set up Deminos seven years ago with his human resources executive wife Louise to offer advice in managing staff and on employment law to other businesses. He now runs offices in London, Gateshead and Reading.
Managing Director of Deminos, Neil Atkinson, said: “Our employment law service continues to go from strength to strength and we have had a number of major contract wins.
“Our HR work is also experiencing a strong period of growth. We are very much looking forward to a period of continued investment and expansion in 2015.”
