Vantage boosts presence in Lancashire with used car centre

Vantage Motor Group, a motor retail company has opened its first used car dealership in Lancashire.

Vantage Select, a division of the franchise which specialises in used cars, opens its fourth used car centre in the UK in Morecambe, adjacent to the John Wilding Citroen dealership, also part of Vantage Motor Group, on Whitelund Industrial Estate.

The newly opened dealership represents a £120k investment and has created four new sales positions for the local area.

Over the past year Vantage Motor Group’s turnover has grown from £65 million to more than £200 million.

The group employs 400 people.

Andrew Holmes, who was recently appointed as General Manager of the Citroen Morecambe and Kendal dealerships, will also oversee sales at Vantage Select Morecambe.

Andrew said: “The opening of Vantage Select in Morecambe means local people will have the benefit of Vantage’s impeccable customer service, with the option to buy some very reasonably priced cars.

“There is very high demand for this service in Morecambe, and we are confident we will have some very satisfied customers.”

Managing director of Vantage Motor group, Mark Robinson, said: “The opening of Vantage Select Morecambe adds to our significant presence in Lancashire, with dealerships in Morecambe, Kendal, Preston and Grange-over-Sands.

“We are delighted to bring our first used car service to the region and are really looking forward to widening our customer base even further.”
