New independent waste management firm targets Humber market with £500k investment
Hull’s growing business sector is set to benefit as a brand new waste management company launched in the area this week.
Lili Waste, an independent waste management company, will offer a wide range of services to meet the waste management and recycling requirements of businesses and organisations across the city and region.
With the ethos of providing a local service for local people, the company invested over £500k, including two state-of-the-art waste and recycling vehicles driven by Hull-born Ricky Green.
Director at Lili Waste, David Adams, said: “We see a real opportunity to deliver a bespoke service to the businesses of Hull.
“Lili Waste will compete on price with the national players in the market, whilst ensuring a focus on service to provide the best waste and recycling options for both the commercial and public sectors.
“Hull is a fantastic and thriving city, evidenced by their award of the UK’s City of Culture 2017.
“We believe there is a real gap in the market for personalised services with regular collections whilst utilising the latest on-board weighing and tracking technology and we look forward to working alongside the people and businesses of the Hull and Humber area.”
Lili Waste will provide clients across Hull with waste management consultancy, tailored waste collections, recycling services and advice, comprehensive waste audits and expert advice on UK waste regulations.
