Planning approval granted for Warrington’s £52 million regeneration project

Planning approval has been granted for a £52 million Bridge Street Quarter project in Warrington town centre.

The plans will include a new market hall, civic centre, cinema and shops.

The plans were drawn up by Muse Developments working alongside Warrington & Co and Warrington Borough Council.

The work is due to start in the New Year.

Leader of Warrington Borough Council Councillor Terry O’Neill, said: “Warrington town centre is on the cusp of a renaissance which will bring its vitality back to its former glory.

“This is an historic moment,” according to the Construction Enquirer
