Start your year off by expanding your business skills with your local Chamber.

The Mid Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce is holding a range of training events in January and February to make sure you are clued up on topics from emotional intelligence in the workplace to business know-how.

Member company Simply Customer will be giving a 60 minute insight into Increasing profits and reducing costs through understanding your customers. It will take place on Tuesday 13th January.

Are you ready for pensions Auto Enrolment? Member Sheards Wealth Management will delve in to exactly what you need to know as a business on Thursday 29th January.

Brand Yorkshire will provide an interactive session on working with emotional intelligence on Thursday 19th February, exploring the benefits to you, your business and your family.

On Tuesday 24th February Glendinning Wealth will present the importance of having a Will and Powers of Attorney.

Avid 60 Useful Minute attendee Rowena Mercer of member company The Hire Experts commented: “I have found the 60 Useful Minutes training events an excellent benefit of Chamber membership. “Not only do you get to hear interesting and professional people talk, you get the opportunity to pick their brains and network with other members and non-members alike in a relaxed atmosphere.”

All January and February 60 Useful Minutes events will take place from 08:30-10:00 at The Chamber’s Huddersfield office at Lockwood Park with ample car parking provided. Delegate places are £10.00 for non-members and free for members.
