Salford Quays’ Greenwood Business Centre signs three new deals

Acting on behalf of Sale-based Willan Investments, commercial property agent, Canning O’Neill has announced three deals at Greenwood Business Centre in Salford Quays, Greater Manchester.

Community interest organisation, Six Degrees Social Enterprise, which provides mental health care, has taken 3,595 sq ft space on the second floor of Southwood House on a 5-year lease.

In separate deals, Grays Architecture has signed up to 409 sq ft and Entertainment Box Ltd has taken 202 sq ft.

Located at the gateway of Salford Quays, Greenwood Business Centre comprises three buildings offering a total of 36,000 sq ft, with high quality suites from 200 – 5,500 sq ft.

Six Degrees, Grays Architecture and Entertainment Box represented themselves.

Six Degrees’ Managing Director, Phil McEvoy, said: “The Greenwood Business Centre provides an excellent location for us to undertake our work.

“It offers the space we need to accommodate our expanding workforce and a great work environment.

“This will enable us to extend our activities by developing new mental health services in Salford, as well as training and consultation services in Greater Manchester and beyond”.

John Nash of Canning O’Neill, sole agent for the scheme, said: “Six Degrees’ decision to relocate to Greenwood means that we’ve let over 10,000 sq ft in a 12 month period.

“Greenwood fills a gap in the market for good value, refurbished accommodation and is proving to be an attractive proposition for businesses looking for a Manchester location with excellent transport links.”
