Free E-Commerce Seminar for Sheffield’s Online Retailers
SHEFFIELD internet marketing agency Ignition Search will begin the New Year with the third of its free seminars on the importance of digital and internet marketing for businesses.
The sessions are part of the Ignition Search ‘Be Seen Be Found’ series of free events, headed by Managing Director Dan Kavanagh, where the experts at Ignition Search share their knowledge in online marketing to give local business the basics in SEO, Google Adwords and E-Commerce.
E-Commerce: It’s All About Conversions will be held at 9am on Thursday, January 15 at The Chimney House in Kelham Island.
Among the areas covered will be:
An introduction to E-Commerce Why many E-Commerce sites fail How to turn shoppers into buyers Common web design mistakes that cost you sales Best tips for traffic and sales Tracking results
“So many companies think that simply by having a web presence they can develop a successful sales site but the reality is much tougher than that,” said Dan.
“This free seminar will benefit everybody from businesses to charity organisations – absolutely any organisation that is selling products online.
“Our aim is to give attendees an insight into how just making a few small changes to the website can have a huge impact on their online sales.”
Ignition Search’s previous seminars have been met with high praise by attendees.
Ellie Agnew from The Children’s Hospital Charity attended the Adwords Seminar and said, “The speakers do a great job of covering what is clearly a vast and complex topic, and breaking it down into digestible chunks for those who aren’t as web-savvy.
“The team are really passionate and knowledgeable, and there is definite sense that Ignition are head and shoulders above the competition.”
April Rye from SVM Europe added: “I found the event very eye opening and intriguing to see how Google AdWords actually works.
“As a novice to this side of Google I was unaware of the potential it holds and how you can manipulate it to benefit yourself and how you can do so by not just throwing money at it, which I thought was the case.
“The speakers at the event answered all my questions and they answered the participants’ questions with great knowledge which felt reassuring.”
