Liverpool FC set for £25 million increased revenue per year
Liverpool football club can expect their income to increase by £25 million per year after they have expanded their main stadium.
Approximately £20 million will come from the 8,500 seats with 4,500 of those being corporate seats.
A further £5 million a year is expected to be made from the sponsorship of the stand.
There is the potential for yet more income because the new Anfield grounds will be eligible to stage major club finals.
The expansion will cost £100 million however the club expect to see benefits from the work.
Liverpool’s chief executive Ian Ayre said: ‘The commercial department is in talks with various people. We didn’t think that looking for a naming rights deal on a stadium as iconic as Anfield made sense, but there are real value and benefits to be had around a naming rights deal on the new stand.
‘It is not just a question of how much a deal is worth, but more about which deal would allow the club and partner to enjoy the most benefit,’ according to the Daily Mail
