Node4 to provide superfast internet connection grants to London SMEs
Cloud and data centre specialist Node4 is extending the offer as a registered supplier for the UK Government’s Broadband Connection Voucher Scheme, which will provide £150 million to help businesses get faster broadband.
The scheme enables businesses to apply for grants up to £3k each for the purchase of superfast internet connections. The vouchers are available to Small or Medium Enterprises (SMEs) within 22 cities across the UK.
As a registered supplier, Node4 will provide London businesses with the superfast connections and facilitate the process of acquiring vouchers from the Government.
The vouchers are provided on a strictly first come, first serve basis.
Ian Millward, head of sales North, Node4, said: “Too many businesses are still reliant on sub-standard internet connections and the Broadband Connection Voucher Scheme is a fantastic way for companies to boost their capabilities.
“Upgrading to better quality, high speed broadband can bring significant business benefits, especially to organisaitons where each member of the team needs to be online and available during working hours.
“High quality connectivity can boost employees’ productivity, which ensures consist delivery of a high quality service. In turn, by delivering exceptional customer experience, businesses increase customer loyalty and revenues.
