£75 million residential development in Salford
Knight Knox International a provider of buy-to-let developments to the private investor market – has launched plans for a £75 million Salford-based residential scheme.
Adelphi Wharf will be completed over three phases and based on Adelphi Street on the bank of the River Irwell, within walking distance of Manchester city centre.
It will comprise 580 apartments and townhouses, with phase one due to be completed in August 2016.
Amenities for the 450,000 sq ft development are set to include secure bicycle storage, an on-site gymnasium, concierge reception area and landscaped gardens.
The development will be let and block managed in its entirety by Fortis Lettings and Management.
Subject to planning, Fortis Developments will act as developer for the multi-million pound scheme.
Sales director at Knight Knox, Martin Copeland, said: “2015 is set to be a very exciting year for Salford, due to significant investment into the city’s regeneration.
“We’re thrilled to be providing the area with high quality residential property and valuable investment opportunities, whilst boosting our portfolio with such a distinctive scheme.”

“Adelphi Wharf is an exciting project, which we expect the whole area to benefit from, enhancing the city’s growing reputation and breathing new life into this currently vacant site.”
