Cataclean launches new bike product at motorcycle expo

~~LIVERPOOL engine cleaner maker Cataclean has launched its first product for the global motorbike market at the Motor Cycle Trade EXPO at Stoneleigh Park.

The product, named Cataclean ‘One Shot’ Bike, has been tested ahead of its launch at Motrac Racing in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire. Testing has shown the product, which comes in an easy to use 150ml bottle, can restore and improve both power and throttle response on 4-stroke engines.

Cataclean is expanding into the bike market after rebranding its premium car based products during 2014 which help vehicles pass MOT tests by cutting emissions and for diesels also helping to maintain diesel particulate filters (DPF). However, the prime benefit of the Cataclean ‘One Shot’ Bike product is to restore performance.

Cataclean director Graham Fraser said the team is enormously excited by the new product. “Cataclean products are great value, safe, easy to use and can deliver immediate results,” he said.

“We believe the ‘performance enhancing’ concept of Cataclean ‘One Shot’ Bike will really appeal to riders of all types of bikes. We are launching now to help dealers target the spring season with bikers who are looking to get their motorcycles back on the road after winter. We know bikers look to maximize engine performance particularly after their bike has been off the road for a few months which may lead to sluggish power and throttle responses. This is exactly where Cataclean can restore and revive performance by thoroughly cleaning the engine and its injectors.”

Mr Fraser said for the best results Cataclean should be used after hibernation and every 3,000 miles which makes it a strong sell-on product for dealers.

“A clean engine is a fuel efficient engine,” he said. “So as well as restoring performance Cataclean ‘One Shot’ Bike can also cut fuel bills and carbon emissions by up to 60pc.”

Cataclean was recently named an Export Champion by UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) after seeing a significant increase in international sales helped by a network of distributors and agents. Mr Fraser said ‘One Shot’ Bike will also be positioned for the exports market initially targeting the United States, Europe and the Middle East markets.

Developed in 1995, Cataclean is the flagship product of System Products, which was established in 1999 to market Cataclean. Patents have been obtained worldwide. The product is a fuel system cleaner for both diesel, petrol and hybrid engines. Cataclean has and continues to market its product through established distributors in the motor trade.
