Independent North East estate agency ventures into sixth branch
An independent estate agent has expanded into its sixth branch in Bishop Auckland as it continues to grow throughout the North East.
Venture Properties, which opened its Bishop Auckland branch this month, has offices in Durham, Darlington, Cockerton Village, Chester-le-Street and Crook.
The new branch on Newgate Street, will be headed by Leanne Henderson, and has employed three people for the launch, growing the Venture Properties team to a total of 33 employees.
Venture Properties only recently opened its Durham office in September of last year.
Director at Venture Properties, Michael O’Connor, said: “We have decided to go to Bishop Auckland as it is within close proximity of two of our existing offices, Darlington and Crook, and would service the area in between those two offices.
“We are frequently asked to go to Bishop Auckland for valuations and this was a main factor in our decision-making.
“We are always looking to expand the company when we find areas that we believe are right for us and for potential customers.
“I’m very excited about the future and hope to expand our brand into other towns and cities in the region.
“Our success is down to the fact that we try and do things a little bit differently and try not be like a traditional estate agent in the way we work.”
