Manchester United second second highest revenue earner in world
Manchester United has risen two places on Deloitte’s rich list to second place with total earnings of over €500 million , the only other club to earn over €500 million was Real Madrid.
United’s revenues for 2013-14 season were €528 million, with €162.3 million from broadcast revenue.
The 2013-14 season saw the aggregate annual revenue of the top 20 clubs exceed €6 billion for the first time, an increase of 14% on the previous year.
Revenue excludes player transfer fees, VAT and other sales related taxes.
Other North West clubs made Deloitte’s list with Manchester City 6th in the list with a revenue of €414.4 million, and Liverpool 9th with a revenue of €305.9 million.
