Third Energy gets Tractivity software on board
Onshore and offshore gas appraisal and development company, Third Energy UK Gas Ltd (Third Energy) has announced the installation of RE:SYSTEMS’ cloud-based Tractivity system for effective management of stakeholder engagement and consultation processes. Tractivity is being used during the planning stages of key onshore projects in Yorkshire, including Ebberston Moor and Ebberston South, Vale of Pickering, Knapton and more recently, the application to hydraulically fracture the KM8 well at Kirby Misperton. The software also incorporates fully customised questionnaires from Snap Surveys to enable Third Energy to gather feedback with local people, councils, regulators and other stakeholders. Operating for over twenty years, Third Energy is committed to providing energy sources which have minimal impact on the local community and environment. The company already produces gas from four fields in North Yorkshire used at its generating station at Knapton to supply power to the National Grid. Barbara Comben at Third Energy commented:
“We selected the Tractivity system due to the company’s specialist experience in providing online consultation tools for other energy companies. By adapting the platform to our specific requirements, we are able to streamline our whole stakeholder engagement and consultation processes straight away.” For more information, visit: www.tractivity.co.uk
