Darlington-based online gift company expands product range

Darlington-based online gifting company Simply Thank You this week expands its range with an original range of mini floral arrangements, named Posy Pots.

The premier gifting company has been sending gifts and flowers by post for over 20 years, and continues to bring new products to the market.

This new offering, Posy Pots, comes as the company welcomes a new florist to the team, the first new addition since 5 apprentices joined the workforce last year.

Last year saw a period of growth for Simply Thank You, and has led to an increase in business development opportunities, which the company has taken to work on new lines.

Much preparation has already started for the Christmas 2015 range, and the new floral line, Posy Pots, has been created entirely in house and launches this week.

Developed as a mini bouquet, the Posy Pot is a petite floral arrangement in varieties with roses, gerberas, carnations and other blooms, which arrives in a sturdy display box with handles and a window.

Arranged in a small oasis-filled pot, the flowers slide in and out on a tray, allowing for receipt and display at work, in hospital or on a trip, without risking damage to take the flowers home.

Following considerable growth last year the new range, a Simply Thank You original, has been established in a move that will see the company’s floral line expand on both its consumer and corporate sides.

Having undergone intensive testing since its inception in October, the Posy Pots benefit from specially designed packaging which is both sturdy and striking, and a pipette watering system to keep the blooms healthy for longer.

Following initial success in a pre-launch, Simply Thank You has secured contracts to supply Posy Pots to a large corporate client in the home repairs industry. As part of engagement programs, large companies are able to send Posy Pots through the post to their employees and customers.

Thanks to their neat presentation and durable outer, Posy Pots are sized and designed to be sent safely either via Royal Mail or by courier, opening quality flower orders up to a wider audience of buyers thanks to a lower delivery price.

It’s this combination of beauty and practicality that makes the Posy Pot an easy and affordable way to send a gesture to friends or loved ones, and a unique idea with which Simply Thank You will continue to expand throughout 2015.

With special edition bunches for Valentine’s Day and Mothering Sunday now being prepared, the Posy Pot is expected to be a popular gift during the spring season when traditional bouquets are usually in high demand from Simply Thank You.
