Wake up with Delifonseca during National Breakfast Week
Delifonseca is preparing to cook up a storm at the end of this month to celebrate National Breakfast Week.
On Saturday, January 31 and Sunday, February 1, Delifonseca Dockside down at Brunswick Quay will mark the foodie occasion by serving up a decadent weekend breakfast entitled ‘Steak and Black Velvet’.
Proprietor Candice Fonseca said: “What better way to start the morning than with a meaty Delifonseca breakfast - with a twist. We’re serving up an American style steak breakfast (both in style and size!) and are serving it with a glass of Black Velvet, which for the uninitiated is half Guinness and half champagne!“
The special ‘all day’ breakfast will consist of a steak, served with fried eggs, Cheshire Smokehouse Black Bacon, Brough’s Sausages, black pudding, field mushrooms, tomatoes and bubble & squeak.
Candice added: “We know that our big breakfast will go down a treat during the national celebration for those brave enough to try. At Delifonseca, we love being original and our blackboard menu allows us to put on quirky one-off combinations like these alongside our more ambitious and innovative main courses.
“Food doesn’t always have to be complicated, it just needs to be good quality ingredients put together with care. It’s this celebration of quality ingredients that helps us to maintain our reputation as an innovative independent.“
The Steak and Black Velvet Breakfast will be served at the Brunswick Quay venue on Saturday, January 31 and Sunday, February 1, priced at £20 per person. It will be served through early afternoon.
