Marsden moving Barrowford branch…down the road!

On Saturday, 7th February, Marsden staff will be closing the doors of their current branch at the usual time of 12:00pm, and moving down the road to reopen at 9:00am in their brand new branch at 80 Gisburn Road on Monday 9th February. Marsden’s new Barrowford branch will be replacing the traditional counter area with customer service desks, new quiet areas will be provided within the customer lounge and there will be screened areas for member’s privacy. There are parking facilities available outside of the branch for members to allow easy access. The Barrowford team invite members to visit their new branch over the “welcome week” where they will be serving coffee and cakes allowing members to spend some time to explore the new style of service. Heather Crinion, Head of Operations says, “We aim to make the move as easy as possible for members, we’re keeping the same branch telephone number, 01282 601010 and there will be no changes to staffing so you’ll see the same friendly faces again at our new branch.” New-look locations have already been piloted successfully by the Society at their flagship Burnley and Lytham locations receiving very positive reaction from members.

Jilly Doyle, Barrowford Branch Manager says, “We are really looking forward to the change in location and service, we feel it will give us more opportunity to deliver personal service for our members”.
