Morris makes its mark on franchise programme
One of the UK’s leading oil blenders has appointed a new franchise dealership manager with two decades of experience in the industry.
Mark Bacon has taken on the role at Morris Lubricants and will head up the franchise programme of the Shrewsbury-based lubricants manufacturer.
“I’m absolutely delighted to continue my long history in the franchise market and am extremely confident I can add value to the customer,” said Mark, who lives in Buckinghamshire.
“I have nine years of experience working directly in this channel and have a strong understanding of how aftersales departments function and how to make them profitable for our customers.
“I have dealt with all the major OEMs in the past and look forward to continuing to build and strengthen relationships with them and customers moving forward.”
Mark has split the last 19 years of his career working for BP and Castrol, and is excited at the new challenge which lies ahead.
“Morris Lubricants is very well respected in the industry and I’m delighted to be joining what is a very strong and knowledgeable team,” he added.
“While I will be out on the road visiting customers for the vast majority of the time, there is no escaping there is a real family feel about the business which is a major plus for me.
“Morris has a range of products and programs to assist with very specific areas within the franchise programme and I’m excited about the support we can provide to dealerships and workshops over the coming months and years. “
