From mayor to care in Bexley
Supreme Home Care have demonstrated the appeal of their burgeoning brand by welcoming local dignitaries as their latest franchisees.
Sharon and Don Massey have set up their business in Bexley, where Sharon was formerly the mayor and both are serving councillors. Don will provide vital business knowhow and back-up while Sharon tackles the demanding role of care manager.
Sharon has previously taught social care at a local college and has been a councillor for the last 16 years, roles which have given her a significant knowledge base as well as a host of contacts in the area. She says her experience was a driving factor behind starting the business: “My year as mayor just reinforced my determination to support the residents of Bexley to remain well and independent in their own homes.
“I firmly believe that Bexley deserves a high quality service provider and I have teamed up with the experts at Supreme Home Care who I know will support me to deliver just that.”
Sue Robson, Supreme Home Care’s franchising director, said: “We are delighted to have been able to welcome Sharon and Don to our network. They have been able to demonstrate that they have the essential, but rare mix of caring and business expertise that we require in our franchisees. We’re confident that they will deliver the quality of service that we and our clients expect from the brand, in turn developing for themselves a successful, profitable and socially rewarding business.”
