EMS unveils mobile clinical lab for OCD
Ortho Clinical Diagnostics (OCD) will be delivering a laboratory solutions showcase to the doorstep of healthcare professionals throughout Europe, as it goes on the road with Event Marketing Solutions (EMS) with a second truck.
Designed to raise awareness of OCD’s clinical diagnostics division, the Clinical Lab Mobile Executive Centre (MEC) will share the benefits of its technology through an immersive and interactive brand experience with hands-on demonstrations as well as education through presentations and ePUBS.
The VITROS® 5600 Integrated System - which integrates clinical chemistry and immunoassay testing on one platform - will be at the centre of the 56m2 of mobile exhibition space. Too complex and cumbersome to move independently, the roadshow will enable the system to be showcased to a wide range of geographically dispersed customers safely and securely, emphasising its efficiency, ease of use and environmental credentials.
The Clinical Lab MEC will be unveiled to OCD’s EMEA organisation on Monday 9 February before embarking on a tour of Europe.
It will strengthen the success of OCD’s current roadshow, which focuses on transfusion medicine becoming a touring mobile showroom to support local market sales teams by visiting conferences, hospital sites and hotels.
Peter Clements, Clinical Laboratories Marketing Manager Europe at OCD said:
“This is the first time that we have devoted our roadshow activity to our clinical lab division. It will follow the same winning formula as our current tour, which has been hugely successful and just embarked on a leg in the Middle East. Our Clinical Lab roadshow will enable health professionals to experience first-hand the product benefits for themselves, strengthening our relationships with customers and prospects.”
Gemma Edney, Account Director at EMS said:
“It’s fantastic to be working with OCD on a second roadshow truck. We are delivering two very unique brand experiences, yet with the same consistent OCD branding and messaging, doubling their impact in the market. The new Clinical Lab has been designed around the VITROS 5600, so as well as a display of the product we have also created four stations with plasma screens to communicate its benefits in more detail alongside other key messages.”
OCD serves the clinical chemistry and transfusion medicine laboratories around the world with technology solutions for screening, diagnosing, monitoring and confirming diseases early and before they put lives at risk. Its current roadshow with EMS focuses on the Ortho Vision Analyser – a high-tech piece of equipment for blood screening and typing – as well as raises awareness of its broader medical solutions.
