Lionra Network announces date for Shamrock Ball 2015
With St Patrick’s Day just around the corner, The Lionra Network is hosting its third Shamrock Ball in style this year at The Hilton Hotel, Newcastle.
Tables or individual tickets are now available for the hotly anticipated event which is due to take place on Saturday 14th March.
The non-profit organisation which promotes North East/Irish business was founded by Maurice Duffy from County Mayo, who is CEO of Blackswan a global business transformation specialist based in Tynemouth.
Maurice Duffy, said: “The Shamrock Ball has become an annual event here in the North East and it’s a great craic! People from both the North East and Ireland know how to party so we expect it to be an entertaining night.
“We will be entertained by renowned North East comedian, Brendan Healy and no night would be complete without Irish dancing from the Innova Dance company and live music from The Baghdaddies.
“There will be a three course meal and a charity auction with all money raised going to the Sick Children’s Trust, a charity that provides free accommodation to families of sick children being treated in hospital. It has eight houses across the UK, including Crawford House in Newcastle. Also benefitting will be the Progressive Supranuclear Palsy Association, a charity that helps those suffering from a disease which, over a short period of time, robs people of their ability to walk, talk, see and swallow.”
The Lionra Network is open to all business people. There are no membership fees, just a willingness to get involved, be supportive and pass on knowledge and experience. To join please go to www.lionra.co.uk
