Yorkshire siblings lighting the way for luxury

Two Yorkshire-based siblings, with 10 years’ experience in the interiors industry, are ‘lighting the way’ for stunning handcrafted, British-made products.

Stableford’s – run by Glenn and Jane Stableford – is looking to discover new, high end retailers in a bid to bring the company’s luxury floor and table lights to fans of lavish decor.

The duo, who’d like to become acquainted with any interiors retailers or designers keen to stock Stableford’s high end collection of lighting, are confident 2015 will be the company’s best year yet.

Offering stunning handmade pieces available to order, the company manufactures products with the discerning buyer very much in mind.

Taking sole ownership of the business in 2003, Glenn rebranded what was formerly known as Aire Valley Lighting to Stableford’s three years later in 2006. Since then, demand has been high, but with only an exclusive few (Treniq, Allthehues.co.uk, Houzz.com, and Designcurial.com) stocking the brand’s products.

Now, they would like to extend that offering to any new high end retailers looking to expand their luxury product offering.

Thanks to his background in carpentry, Glenn is also able to offer a wealth of interiors-led services via a different arm to the business over at www.stablefords.co.uk.

Showing his talent in art and design during his school years, Glenn went on to complete anapprenticeship in woodwork and carpentry, with a focus on high quality craftsmanship.

Displaying an interest in working with traditional materials alongside sourcing new ones, Glenn was able to tweak his designs in the pursuit of perfection.

For Glenn, a stint as the joint owner of a lamp manufacturing business at a young age followed a period producing lamps and mirrors for some of the country’s well-renowned interior designers and retailers.

Designed and made here in the UK, Glenn’s own range of handcrafted, bespoke lighting was the natural next step, with made to order products being offered to the customer who enjoys the very best in interiors.

Produced for you in the company’s Yorkshire workshop, Stableford’s lamps bring a touch of luxury to any decor.
