Sedulo Community Project gives back to North West
Manchester based accountancy firm, Sedulo, has given back in a big way over the past 12 months with over £23,000 being put back into the North West.
Through the Sedulo Community Project, the firm of business advisers pledged at the beginning of 2014 to deliver back into the North West community in the form of charitable donations, sponsorship and the provision of free services to charitable causes.
Sporting organisations such as Stockport County FC, Macclesfield Town FC and other local childrens sports clubs benefitted from over £7,000 worth of sponsorship money, whilst charitable causes such as Caudwell Children, Once Upon A Smile and Millie’s Trust have also been beneficiaries of nearly £5,000 worth of sponsorship.
The Community Project has also supported charities in the region with discounted, or free services being made available, and staff members also got involved by raising money using events such as the Great Manchester Run and the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.
Of the Project, Sedulo Managing Director Paul Cheetham says…
“We have always believed it important to give back, it was one of the fundamental reasons I started the business. Whilst what we did in 2014 was good, 2015 should be even better, we aim to provide at least £30,000 of support to local deserving causes. We are in the process of arranging a number of organised events throughout the year along with the usual spur of the moment fun activities as we always do. We have already committed to getting involved in a project to contribute towards a little boys treatment in the US. We do whatever is close to the heart of our staff or our clients.”
